Let’s Make The Flag Block – Mini Block Monday #24 from The Free Motion Quilting Project

I’m back with another patriotic mini quilt block – The Flag! This is probably the easiest of all our 4th of July themed blocks with only four little Half Square Triangles and lots of skinny strips. Very fast to put together just in time to celebrate American Independence Day!

How to Piece a Freedom Stars Block – Mini Block Monday #23 from The Free Motion Quilting Project

This week I’m piecing a new Freedom Stars quilt block, which looks really complex when it’s all pieced together. But this block is actually made from four super mini Friendship Star blocks and so long as you piece those first, this block will go together easy peasy!
